Ripasso of enormous quality; a complete balanced and refined wine. Intense, structured; a majestic, elegant red with good complexity. Violet, plum and wood all gently spiced. Discrete flavor and good finish.

Paired with a vegetable soup, legume soup. Wild chicory with dried broad bean puree; lamb pancetta in sauce.
Uncork and decant one hour before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18 °C in a large Ballon glass.
