Six hundred years in the Roero. The Almondos have always lived in the locality of Vittori di Montà, the heart of the Arneis vineyards and the epicenter of rural life. Alongside the cultivation of asparagus, strawberries and peaches, the Arneis white grape vine from Montà excels in its fragrance and flavor.

The world of Almondo wine is always enriched by collaborations. Research and studies are still in progress with the Institute of Vitivinicultura - CNR of Turin; a clonal selection of Arneis, new plants suitable for the specific territory, capable of maintaining adequate clonal variability in the Roero vineyards.

In fact, the winery covers 18 hectares of vineyards of Arneis and Nebbiolo, located at the northern end of the Roero in the agricultural areas of Montà. The highest territory with the Arneis vineyards are between 45 and 60 years old, the soil is rich in skeleton (sand - pebbles) and high acidity, Nebbiolo is found more calcareous in the south, with plants from the early 1990s
