Why I suggest Arneis Roero DOCG Bricco delle Ciliegie 2023 Almondo
Giovanni Almondo is the Roero. In the north-western area, between 320 and 370 meters above sea level, the soils are sandy for almost 80% of the total. They are very loose, with an acid reaction (pH 5.5), and very draining. These fractions of land are composed of sands of marine origin mixed with more recent ones from river deposits, and are often interspersed with clay veins rich in mineral salts. Mostly covered with chestnut woods and orchards, they are devoted to the cultivation of white grapes, the Bricco delle Ciliegie Arneis Roero thanks you.
Sommelier:
Pale straw yellow. Crystalline. The Arneis in purity is quite consistent. On the nose: intense, not very complex, fine. Citrus fruits, pear, jasmine flowers, salty notes, scent of the sea. Fruity, floral, mineral. On the palate: dry, warm, soft, fresh, sapid. Good body, balanced, intense, persistent, fine. Mature and fairly harmonious. Pleasantly a great drink.
