Why I suggest Barolo Riserva DOCG Cerequio
Tradition is a consolidated innovation, Michele Chiarlo wines are fully considered a traditional reality. Aimed at enhancing the great terroirs of Langhe and Monferrato using only native Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cortese and Moscato vines grown exclusively on the hills, an authentic expression of the territory and of the millenary culture of wine and places.
The Sommelier: Generous and fruity Barolo Cerequio Riserva. Bright garnet color; complex nose, intense with great charm and balsamic notes, violets, small black fruits, truffle and spices; rich and powerful on the palate, but extremely elegant and refined with a texture of present but silky tannins; great harmony and finish, very long lasting.
Recommended pairings: Mafalde on shelled broad beans puree; red meats; vegetable first courses with lamb meat; Savoy cabbage stew of pork. Dishes of the Piedmontese tradition. Meat chops better if with spicy; good with Florentine-style tenderloin and red radicchio from Treviso, grilled ...
Uncork and decant an hour before serving at a temperature of 18-20 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
Winery: I La Michele Chiarlo is one of the historical founders of the Consorzio Grandi Vini, founders of the Accademia del Barolo, and of being chosen to be part of the Institute of Italian wines of great quality.
