We are in Venegazzù di Volpago del Montello, an area historically suited to the production of quality wines. Perched on the beautiful hills of the riviera del Montello (Treviso), 60 hectares of vineyards. Founded in the Fifties by Count Piero Loredan, and from 1973 to the current owner Giancarlo is a Ball, are still planted vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec, the varietal that are essential for producing wines of high quality, such as the famous and almost legendary “Head of State”. Together with the land of origin, the main foundation that consists, geologically, from the debris of the river Piave, enriched conglomerates of limy pebbles, porphyry, and granite mixed with clay. This is the place where the winery was born, and in which stands the majestic work of eighteenth-century palladian villa Spineda, the architect F. M. Preti, in front of the winery surrounded by vines and red berries. While in the Estate of Giavera, twenty-three hectares are dedicated to Prosecco Superiore of the DOCG ASOLO.
