Ramione Nero d'Avola pays homage to the founder of the estate, the Baron of Ramione Antonio Palizzolo. A balanced wine, it expresses the different peculiarities of the territories it belongs to.

Characteristics of Ramione di Baglio di Pianetto wine

Ramione Nero D'Avola Merlot Sicilia DOC is dominated by herbaceous notes and black pepper, fruity: red berry fruit jam, spicy: vanilla and nutmeg. Clear and consistent, ruby red in colour, barricaded for 12 months and subsequently 24 months in the bottle. Elegant taste, enveloping tannins, quite warm, excellent alcohol content 14% vol. the finish is long and persistent.
