The Sommelier: this Wine is made from grapes Primitivo 100%. Red color with violet hues. The wine is full-bodied and well-balanced; very intense nose with great complexity. A lot of ripe fruit (plum, blackberry, blueberries, figs), notes spezziate of licorice, vanilla, toasted bread, coffee, caramel. The wine, dry and harmonious, the finish very long.
Food pairings: an Extraordinary wine, easy to match, great with stews of vegetables, meat ragu with fresh homemade pasta, wild game, aged cheeses, taralli, wine, dark chocolate, fresh fruit, peaches, and clingstone peaches are cut into slices and dipped or marinated.
