Why the winemaker recommends Phoenix L' Innamorato Puglia Rosso IGP 2020
A bland of Primitivo Negroamaro (one of my favorite grapes) from Puglia, soft without being too complex. Good to have with pasta and with less demanding friends of sophisticated wines.
Characteristics of this red wine
Ruby red, thin and slender legs in the glass, given the 13% alcohol content. Aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, wood, aromatic herbs. Medium body, right acidity, silky tannins. Tasty and persistent finish. Excellent value for money.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Salento red wine
It goes perfectly with spaghetti with tomato sauce, pasta with spicy red sauces, roasted red meats, barbecues, medium-aged cheeses.
Uncork and decant before serving at 18°C in a large Ballon goblet.
Authenticity of the black grape varieties originating in Puglia (Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia nera).
