Why I suggest Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso
A red without infamy and without praise, of those who leave very little. Definitely correct but nothing more. If you are looking for even the slightest emotion, you won't find it here.
The Sommelier: Wonderfully deep and dark ruby red color. Scented aroma of berries and earthy spices. Excellent structure with soft and firm tannins. Great depth of flavor creating a palate that completes the smells with cherry, raspberry, strawberry, frame, vanilla and spicy nuances. Light-bodied, dry and slightly acidic, it boasts good drinkability and good value for money.
Recommended pairings: Larger cuts of beef (steak on the bone, rib and porterhouse) with a marinara sauce. Roast leg of lamb or lamb shank.
