The grapes are harvested in mid-October. Vinification involves 12-14 days of maceration in stainless steel, with frequent pumping over to extract the aromatic richness and manage the tannins. The wine ages for 14 months in a balanced blend: half in French oak barriques and half in 50-hl Slavonian oak barrels, a choice that allows for great harmony without the wood overpowering it. It then ages for at least one year in bottle before being released for sale.
