Why the winemaker recommends Casisano Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
Really interesting, the cellar is part of the Tommasi property (of Amarone). Product that finds its own connotation of territory and grape variety. When you drink so well it's hard not to remember. A "young" Brunello but one that gives great satisfaction. You can smell all the wood, the fruit and the scents! Incredible roundness and persistence.
Characteristics of the Brunello di Montalcino wine Tommasi - Casisano
Tommasi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Casisano of rare elegance, a tannin stretched to the limit of balance, acute and of the highest quality. The nose is delicate with notes of white pepper, nutmeg, cedar wood and anise. In the mouth it has shiny and very sharp tannins, which are released on fruity and balsamic aromas, ranging from ripe fruit to mint, with nuances of bay leaves and tobacco, which extend into a finish of rare and long persistence.
Recommended pairings for this Montalcino DOCG red wine
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Casisano by Tommasi is ideal with spaghetti with tuna and cherry tomatoes. Perfect as an aperitif, even with light seafood dishes (clams in white wine), grilled white fish and summer green salads with prawns or young cheeses (mozzarella or soft goat's cheese)
