Why I suggest Fiano Scariazzo Puglia IGT
Tasted as part of the Brianza Wine Festival event. In the fermentation phase 20% of the grapes were in new Barrique, then it was assembled with the rest of the wine in vitrified cement tanks. Rivera never contradicts himself, even on whites I'm crazy about. The part of aging in barrique has also favored its conservation in the cellar. Fragrant and floral, dry, slightly spicy.
The Sommelier: Crystalline wine with a straw yellow color of good consistency, 13% volume. On the nose of toasted walnuts, honey and a pinch of flowers. The palate has an early sweetness of honey and pear that dries leaving behind delicious stone fruits and round minerals. Long finish with a wild and fun end!
Recommended pairings: Dishes with fish cooked in many ways; risotto and mushrooms, asparagus omelettes, spinach, artichokes; snails with wild grapes and mint; vegetable soup Cardoncelle and lamb, Romagna piadina and various salami cheeses; Vegetables and vegetables in EVO oil; dried fruit.
Uncork and serve at a temperature between 12 - 13 ° C, in Renano / Chardonnay glass.
Cellar: Rivera Winery ... long centuries have passed and lists of selection of varietal clones, have led to the affirmation of the great Apulian oenological potential with black grapes: Nero di Troia ... go to the card.
