Why the winemaker recommends Tenuta Asinara Hassan Isola dei Nuraghi IGT
The reds of the estate are known to most and Hassan is my favorite. A serious and gigantic wine. A blend that includes local Canonau grapes, and international
style international vines, fruit-forward but with the vegetal of the Cabernet, great structure, soft. Stupendous result, there really is everything and you want to close your eyes to taste it, you can feel the Mediterranean character of the splendid Sardinian island.
Characteristics of Hassan di Asinara
Hassan is an amazing wine, with great balance. Incredible full-bodied Sardinian red, Blend of Cannonau, Cabernet sauvignon and Cabernet franc. Power and finesse that initially leave you pleasantly surprised. The nose is intense and full of aromas, above all, spices and balsamic surrounded by dried red fruits. In the mouth the structure is that of a great wine and a long and pleasant finish close a corollary of fantastic sensations. All that is missing are the evolutionary hints to aim for perfection. That is: to be drunk in a few years!!!
Recommended pairings for this Hassan red wine Sardinia IGT
Excellent with grilled meat or game. It goes very well with the island's lamb.
Uncork and let it oxygenate for an hour before serving the Cayenne red wine at a temperature of 18 and 20 °C in a Ballon glass.
