Fattoria Ormanni Rosso Toscana IGT Julius 2022 an international wine, great super Tuscan represents the genre very well, a nice surprise this wine, it is so full of Energy! I wish I had it every single day... Extremely well made, a tribute to Giulio Gambelli from 1997.
Characteristics of Julius Ormanni wine
Ormanni Julius Rosso Toscana IGT. A Super Tuscan with a beautiful base a blend of 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 10% Syrah and matured for 20 months in new oak barrels. Fruity note reminiscent of red fruits, chocolate and a little spiciness, intense ruby red colour, on the palate there is a nice tannin and ends with a spiciness reminiscent of pepper. A wine that can age for a while longer in the cellar.
Recommended pairings with Sangiovese Toscana IGT red wine
Julius Ormanni excellent companion for stuffed ravioli; good with aubergine parmigiana and San Marzano tomato sauce; bucatini alla matriciana.
Uncork a Julius Ormanni, leave to decant and serve at the ideal temperature of 17°C in balloon glasses.
