Superior class wine, flexible, fresh with a dry flavour. The perfume dominates and guarantees expectations, a wine suitable for making lunch or dinner pleasant and convivial.
Characteristics of Frescobaldi Montesodi Nipozzano wine
Keepable wine with excellent alcohol content 14.50% vol. Grapes coming from old Sangiovese strains give way to a wine with a ruby red color and a garnet edge, an important percentage of dry extract. Floral, spicy scent, the fruity bergamot prevails. On the palate a ripe and silky toasted tannin, hints of black cherry in alcohol, candied fruit, fly sugar and freshly ground coffee. Excellent balance of tannins, rich, warm in the mouth, the high alcohol content continues long in the finish.

Castello di Nipozzano is the ancient stronghold in defense of Florence, one of the most famous and historic properties of the Frescobaldi family. The historical meaning of the name Nipozzano "without a well" testifies to the scarcity of water in the area.
