Characteristics of the Viandante red wine from Tenuta l'Impostino
Pure Sangiovese from the Montecucco DOC in the upper Maremma, aged 24 months in second passage barriques and large barrels plus a further 6 months in the bottle, impenetrable ruby tending towards purple, intense nose that alternates plums, morello cherries and berries with delicate notes woody, concentrated mouth, round and warm but still fresh and elegant with an important tannin that will soften with the right refinement, finish of great character, persistent and spicy.
