Characteristics of the Sauvignon from Kaltern Caldaro
Sauvignon Blanc, straw yellow colour, consistent wine and alcohol content 13.00% Vol. On the nose a delicate and aromatic scent of gooseberries, elderberry, exotic fruit. The taste corresponds to what is perceived by the nose, the fresh acidity is followed by a fatty mouthfeel and a persistent aftertaste of fig syrup and tropical fruity flavours.
Recommended pairings for this Sauvignon Blanc Alto Adige DOC wine
Kaltern's Sauvignon 2024 white wine is a good partner for ham starters and fish dishes. Suitable for risottos with asparagus, tortelli with herbs or flowers, with shellfish and mountain cheeses.
