St. Magdalener Alto Adige DOC Caldaro, a pandering wine, which manages to satisfy even the most demanding and delicate palates, such as those of women.
Characteristics of the wine
Schiava and Lagrein wine intensity in aroma, rich and complex with fruity and vegetal notes. In the mouth it is tasty, very elegant, soft; slightly scratchy tannins. The aroma maintains a pleasant roundness of the fruit, supported by a solid body and an alcohol content of 13% Vol.
Recommended Pairings and Serving Guidelines
St. Magdalener is an excellent red wine with pork cheek, polenta, stewed stew, ossobuco, stewed cod, eel, stewed wild boar, semi-hard cheeses.
Uncork decant before serving at a temperature of 14 – 16°C in a Ballon glass.
