Characteristics of the Desiderio 2018 wine from Avignonesi

Merlot Desiderio Toscana IGT by Avignonesi ruby red color with garnet hues, slight transparency. On the nose, fresh notes of wild berries, blueberry and raspberry arrive, intertwined with slight hints of sweet spices such as saffron and cardamom, but also fresh Mediterranean herbs and maritime pine. On the palate it is soft, full bodied, round and structured, with silky tannins and a long aftertaste with a touch of dark chocolate.
