Characteristics of the sweet wine L'Angelo di San Lorenzo di Petra

The Vermentino bland with Malvasia and Trebbiano immediately warm and persuasive. The nose reveals an intense aroma, characterized by elegant floral, fruity, apricot and dried fig nuances. In the mouth it is rich, harmoniously dense, with very elegant tannins supported by balsamic notes of Mediterranean scrub, hints of chestnut honey, notes of spices and dried fruit. Closes with a finish of great persistence.

Petra Winery

Vittorio Moretti (Petra) commissioned the Swiss architect Mario Botta to design a building symbol of passion for the vineyards for the Suvereto winery. The futuristic structure with the front above ground (downstream) immersed in the vines, has the rational shape of a cylinder cut by an inclined plane and on the sides two wings shielded by porticoes. The central body (Prun stone) with the staircase that culminates in the vegetation with changing colors with the seasons creates a variable architecture.
