Why the oenologist recommends Belvento I Vini Del Mare Ciliegiolo 2024

From the Petra di Suvereto winery, a good example of pure cherry with a strong acid note. The label is beautiful and nice, as are the others in the line.

Characteristics of the Ciliegiolo Belvento wine

100% Ciliegiolo one of the lesser known varietals blended in Chianti, very rarely seen as a medium garnet colored varietal wine; shy cherry nose and minerals on the palate dry and medium acidity, almost round tannins, flavors of cherry, balsamic. Refreshing, light, short finish reminiscent of Gamay.

Recommended pairings with Vino Del Mare Toscana IGT

Light and in case it can accompany aperitifs, a second course based on fish, tuna au gratin in the oven with rosemary cream and cherry tomatoes with appetizers of cold cuts, also recommended with meat-based dinners.

Uncork the Ciliegiolo di Petra Belvento wine and wait an hour before serving at a temperature of 18°C in a large Renano goblet.
