Description

Why I suggest Moscato Passito di Pantelleria DOP 2015

A fantastic gustatory journey on the volcanic island of Pantelleria, accompanied by the famous sweet Passito wine. Production of Moscato d'Alessandria and / or Passito di Pantelleria also known as Zibibbo. The name translated into Arabic language "zabib" raisins / raisins. Cultivated on terraces, according to the Arab agricultural customs, in dry stone walls to protect the hot winds coming from the African continent. From the vinification of the dehydrated grapes on the plant you get the Passito, an enchanting, fragrant and sweet wine. Excellent pairing with aged cheeses, Sicilian or homemade pastry.

Sommelier:

The grapes come from a model of "heroic agriculture" and as typical of Moscati, the Zibibbo / Passito is an aromatic grape. It has a golden yellow color, very fragrant and a thousand facets, it is pleasant and fruity on the nose, with variegated notes of honey, apricot and jam. Great body, sweet on the palate, soft and full-bodied. Persistent with honey aftertaste, it leaves an aromatic and velvety finish in the mouth.

Recommended pairings:

The dry version Moscato Passito di Pantelleria DOP 2015 Rallo is excellent as an aperitif, exceptional with typical Mediterranean dishes based on fish and shellfish. It also goes well with savory dishes such as blue cheeses; cookies and pastries cakes with yogurt or ricotta blue cheeses

Uncork Moscato Passito di Pantelleria DOP 2015 Rallo and serve at a temperature of 12 ° C. in long stemmed goblet.

Cellar:

Eternal combination of nature and knowledge. To highlight this work are above all the wines that speak in the glass. In fact, the wines of this historic winery, in recent years, are increasingly convincing with elegance, complexity and reliability over time...Go to the card
