Description

Why the winemaker recommends Roccheviberti Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2020

The Nebbiolo "Cru" of Rocche di Castiglione is made up of plots of small vineyards with fairly old vines in a soil rich in skeleton chosen exclusively for Nebbiolo. We really like this excellent Barolo for the structure and longevity it has acquired which is the result of constant and methodical traditional winemaking. The fermentation which took place in large oak barrels is refined in the bottle, so that the noble Nebbiolo RoccheViberti slowly continues to develop aromas and structure. It doesn't happen often, don't you think!

Characteristics of the Nebbiolo wine from Roccheviberti

The pure Nebbiolo is prepared and tinges the glass red with violet reflections tending towards garnet as the wine is long-lived; marked and accentuated consistency. The intensity and aroma transports us to the harvest. In the mouth the structure and fullness mix with notes of violet, tar and vanilla. Large at the first sip, warm and the soft tannins leave a very long finish.
