Description

Why the winemaker recommends Il Marroneto Madonna delle Grazie Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

The qualitative escalation of this company in recent years is beyond question. Madonna delle Grazie, historic Marroneto vineyard. It vinifies in conical Allier oak vats for approximately 20 days and ages in large barrels for 41 months. It becomes Brunello after five years, also considering 10 months of refinement in the bottle. Although it has a fairly international taste, it is a Brunello of great typicality and pleasantness. Lots of structure and good flavor. A Brunello from the upper area and it keeps well. Wine deserves the right attention and importance.

Characteristics of the Madonna delle Grazie wine by Il Marroneto

The typical expression of the great Brunellos manages to bring together elegance and strength, the harmony of the Sangiovese aromas and the character of a dense but never broken tannic texture. Here the excellence is absolute and the bottle is one to forget in the cellar and drink with satisfaction at least after 10 years.

Recommended pairings for this Brunello di Montalcino red Toscana wine

Sangiovese, a flexible wine that loves dishes that are not necessarily elaborate, but rather tasty. Seasonal vegetable soups such as country chicory and dried broad bean puree; torcinelli and baked potatoes; cardoncelli mushrooms with hung cherry tomato sauce; troccoli with stuffed cuttlefish sauce.

The Marroneto Wine

It represents the essence of Montalcino tradition. Since 1974, the Mori family has lovingly cared for every phase of production, creating an authentic, elegant and historically rich Brunello. Aged in Allier and Slavonian oak barrels, this wine embodies the culture and respect for a generous land, giving intense emotions with every sip.
