Why the oenologist recommends Cà dei Frati Lugana DOC Brolettino
Brolettino Lugana DOC Cà dei Frati is a white wine that always meets expectations. La Cà dei Frati is a historic company in Lombardy that produces this wine with the native Turbiana vine, originally from the Lake Garda area. The complexity of the wine, despite the malolactic fermentation and the 10 months of aging in barrique, does not alter the flavour. La Cà dei Frati has done an excellent job of balancing all the elements of the Brolettino and making it balanced and harmonious.
Characteristics of the Brolettino Cà dei Frati wine
The color of Brolettino is straw yellow with greenish reflections, but if observed carefully, a coppery reflection can be noticed. The scent is not particularly intense, but it is still possible to perceive the hints of ripe fruit, roses and a balsamic note. In the mouth, the wine is sapid and persistent, with a high alcohol content of 13.5 degrees and a marked acidity that lasts until the finish.
