Begali
Begali
Since 1943, experience and stubbornness have been handed down, a family-run business of the Lorenzo Begali winery in Cengia. In the Valpolicella area in San Pietro in Cariano. Cellar and farm with an area of ten hectares, planted on a low hill area.
The grapes grown are predominantly native to the Verona area: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, vines from which Lorenzo Begali produces only quality grapes, with limited productions also of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. The management of the Earth and its plants are carefully carried out with respect for the environment and the ecosystem. The answer of nature does not delay and "gives" wonderful bunches that have reached maturity that cross the cellar doors to be processed. Pure, concentrated and rich products follow the stages of transformation, from the vineyard to the vinification, aging and aging. Working to achieve the "Absolute Quality" goal that never loses sight and is always the same, year after year.
The fruit of the work done is in the wines that are born from the peasant experiences handed down and elaborated through study and research, to arrive at expressing themselves in the glass with the most faithful essence of the territory to which they belong. Lorenzo Begali's wines are part of the renowned Veronese wine scene with the Valpolicella Classico, the Ripasso, from the “Tigiolo” to the Amarone “Monte C’a Bianca”, up to the distillates. The notoriety is the fruit of the deep love for the Lands and of the passion for their work.
