Why the winemaker recommends Nicosia Monte Gorna Etna Bianco
It is a white Etna of beautiful elegance, certainly different: all minerals, with few fruits, it is still worth making. Already yellow, perhaps Meyer-lemon and light pear on the nose, before the strong minerality slaps the palate. Not the limestone of Chablis, rather the igneity of Etna. I smell cashews; lots of nice acidity. It would be better with a more harmonious tail, but it is still young. "Savory." Monte Gorna Etna Bianco could certainly be "the stuff of connoisseurs" in a couple of years. It is a truly very interesting wine.
Characteristics of the Monte Gorna white wine from Nicosia
The Monte Gorna white wine from Nicosia impresses with its complexity thanks to aromas of ripe white berry fruit. On the palate it is complex, slightly acidic with finely balsamic notes. A wine that can be used throughout the meal.
