Why the winemaker recommends Nicosia Monte Gorna Etna Rosso
Monte Gorna is a noble red wine Sicilia, a wine rich in aroma and flavor that makes you travel with your heart. Etna Rosso is like this, there are no frills, but rigor in this district of Monte Gorna. A beautiful drink rich in balsamic nuances. Red wine from Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio grapes grown on the volcanic south-east side at 700 m above sea level. Vinification and aging for one year in steel, barriques and large barrels.
Characteristics of the Monte Gorna from Nicosia
Complex wine with a pale ruby red color tending towards garnet. On the nose there is the presence of red fruit and many spices. Monte Gorna Rosso is soft, balsamic, intense, persistent in the mouth with balanced tannins. Balance that is played between acidity and a mix of alcohol and fruit. Concentrated fruit, supported by a good structure.
