When people say that nebbiolo can beh ave like pinot noir, this is the style they might think of: accessible, fragrant and fruit driven by well integrated and tamed tannins. A real triumph.
Characteristics of the Nebbiolo Barolo wine:
Beautiful light ruby red color. Thick legs showing the high percentage of alcohol. Notes of cherry, strawberry jam with a hint of leather. The longer it is left in the decanter, the better it opens. On the palate it is dry and soft with flavors of cherry. Tannic and medium more acid. Great bottle of wine and a good representation of Nebbiolo.
