Characteristics of Nussleiten Riserva Castel Sallegg
Simply a *wow* wine, perfectly balanced and pleasant, full-bodied and rich, persistent for a long time with silky tannins and an overwhelming structure. Already accessible, it will continue to improve and is a solid value. Plums, elderberry and vanilla (24 months in barrique) immediately tease the nose, followed by hints of spices. On the palate it is warm, direct, dry, with an important tannin, a marked flavor and a light peppery vein. It needs good oxygenation to release the best of itself. Cheers.
