Why I recommend Rivera Primitivo Salento IGT
The Primitivo Salento from Cantina Rivera is cultivated in its land of origin in the province of Taranto in a modern way, that is, it acquires modern winemaking technologies and through winemaking equipment and experiences the wine contains high quality. Tasting the vintages they are surprisingly rich in extracted content, in which freshness peeks out. It is difficult to find such a fresh wine produced in Puglia. Primitivo Salento has always demonstrated excellence among the great wines of Italy. Puglia maintains a high reputation for quality/price ratio.
Characteristics of Rivera Primitivo Salento wine
Primitivo Salento IGT by Rivera overall an elegant and excellent quality, a concentrate of depth and lots of consistency. The initial vinosity gives way to a varied spiciness of cocoa, liquorice and black cherry in alcohol. Robust, full, with a dry, slightly sweet taste, excellent acidity. The soft, non-invasive tannin improves over the years. In the finish, return of the black cherry fruit and subjective preferential sensation, long and very pleasant.
