Malvirà or "mal girata" is the name of the magnificent winery located in the center of Canale which, for the past 70 years, has specialized in the production of Arneis and Roero resulting from the union of grapes from 5 different vineyards. Delicate colorless white with pleasant notes of slightly ripe white fruit.
Characteristics of the Roero Arneis wine from Malvirà
Roero Arneis wine alive, savory, clear and transparent. Intense, frank and fine aroma. There is a fruity aroma of apples and lemon, a floral note and also a touch of sage and mineral. It is a complex wine in the mouth, the aromas and perfumes are confirmed. Full-bodied, warm and soft, a mature wine with a persistent taste in the mouth of fine quality.
Recommended pairings for this del Roero DOCG Piemonte white wine
Accompanies fish crudités; pasta with fish sauce; dry passatelli with Sicilian red prawns; green tagliolini with cod and almonds; tortelloni stuffed with pumpkin, herbs and Moncenisio cheese.
Uncork and serve the Arneis at a temperature of 12 - 14°C in a Tulipano glass.
