Why I recommend Mazzetti d'Altavilla Grappa Riserva Alba Barolo and Erbaluce
Dedicated to the city of Alba in Monferrato among the hills of the Langhe, this Reserve draws its solemnity from the premier of Piedmontese red wines.
Characteristics of Mazzetti Grappa Riserva Alba Barolo and Erbaluce
Intense aging in fine barrels gives complexity to the Grappa Riserva Alba Barolo and Erbaluce, an absolutely meditation distillate. Barolo whose Nebbiolo pomace obtained on the slopes of an area of the famous wine, blends with the lively and slightly herbaceous notes of a white grape variety, Erbaluce, typical of the Canavese hills. Long aging in barrique for the Piedmontese distillate.
Bouquet:
Strong and persistent floral notes of violets and pomegranate flowers.
Taste:
Dry and pleasant grappa.
Serve Alba Grappa Riserva Barolo e Erbaluce Mazzetti D'Altavilla at a temperature of 10-12°C in a small Tulipano glass.
Mazzetti d'Altavilla distillery
1846, Filippo Mazzetti in the heart of Monferrato, Montemagno, founded the first Distillery for the production of Grappa from the pomace of grapes. In those times considered to be a by-product of the production process of the wine.
