Why I suggest Greco di Tufo DOCG
The origin of this vine seems credited to Greece, even explains its name. But it is considered an Italian autochthonous grape, so much, that the tradition of its cultivation is in Campania. A white wine capable of expressing rather concentrated aromas and flavors associated with almonds and hazelnuts, and also references to minerality, a very appreciated characteristic.
The Sommelier: The wine produced with Greco di Tufo is usually relatively full-bodied, has a soft, balanced and pleasantly fruity flavor with a spicy personality. The color of the wine varies from straw yellow with greenish reflections to golden yellow. Good alcohol content, 12.50% Vol; the fruit is enriched with aromas, the most perceptible are the citrus fruits, the tropical fruits, the almonds and the hazelnuts that positively characterize the Greco di Tufo's identity. Freshness on the palate, accompany the slightly salty texture. In the end, it persists for a long time.
Recommended matches: Toccoli with monkfish sauce; Peppered mussels with tarantine mussels, linguine with seafood, spaghetti with carbonara, ham and melon, aubergine parmigiana, soft cheeses, fresh fruit: peaches; dried fruit.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 10-12 ° C in a Tulipano glass.
