Why the winemaker recommends Zolla Malvasia Nera DOP 2020 Vigneti del Salento
Malvasia Nera the Black Pearl of Salento!!! that's how I nicknamed this wine. Skilled winemaker from the Zolla winery who was able to give life to a wine with well-known expressions, you have the greatest Italian wines!!! Here you can taste the jam, hints of dried roses and flavor and minerality given by the territory, soft tannin, also due to the passage in barrel for 24 months.
Characteristics of the Malvasia Nera di Zolla wine
Malvasia Nera another exciting native Italian grape variety, former blending wine for Primitivo and Negro Amaro. He doesn't usually stay alone. It smells and tastes slightly sweet, but has lots of flavor and a lower alcohol content. Medium + body, medium acidity, soft tannins. I was very surprised by its spicy and persistent finish.
