Why the winemaker recommends Rivetti Botticella Chardonnay Langhe DOC 2022

Surprising and tasty Piedmontese Chardonnay, floral and not too okay, I expected heaviness given by the 12 months of wood, but instead I found it fresh and well balanced. Classic hints of Chardonnay from the Langhe, excellent acidity and discreet minerality. Organic winemaking only sulfur and copper applied in the vineyard. Aged for a year in large vats. Serve cold!!

Characteristics of Rivetti Botticella Chardonnay wine

Chardonnay which also makes a passage in wood. Slightly mineral, intense flavour. Spectacular well-evolved fresh wine with a broad taste-olfactory complement. Kit characterized by strong buttery notes of exotic fruit, yellow flowers, vanilla.

Recommended pairings for this Chardonnay Langhe DOC wine

Spot on with the gratin artichokes; asparagus tips; drawn pasta with seafood, linguine with seafood; spaghetti and Taranto mussels.

Uncork and serve this Chardonnay at a temperature between 6 - 8 C° in a Tulipano glass.
