Description

Why the winemaker recommends Avignonesi Chardonnay Il Marzocco 2023

Splendid Chardonnay wine with a small fraction of Grechetto from clay soils with limestone layers exposed to the north west. Both grapes undergo a short maceration in an inert environment. To then be vinified and subsequently assembled with a 6-month aging in wood. Chardonnay Il Marzocco takes its name from the stone lion found in the center of Montepulciano. Almost golden in color, intense, shiny and elegant, a very fat wine that leaves a good salivation that makes you want to drink another glass. Good value for money.
