Ormanni Canaiolo Toscana beautiful discovery, blending grapes from Chianti vinified alone. The softness it gives in the cut here expresses it directly in an absolutely pleasant way on the palate. The notes are quite classic in Chianti for aromas and taste but this softness captivates. It is not a sublime wine but it is worth trying it at least once

Characteristics of Ormanni Canaiolo wine

Ormanni Canaiolo Toscana Red IGT 2024. Short notes with some impressions. I had never tasted a varietal Canaiolo. This variety is usually used as a blend, especially in Chianti. Light, pleasant and fragrant wine. Light purplish ruby colour. Aromas of ripe red fruit with hints of sweet spices and light floral. Medium body, fruity, subtle tannins, medium acidity, spicy touches and medium persistent finish.

Recommended pairings with Toscana IGT red wine

Ormanni Canaiolo Toscana good accompaniment with bucatini all'amatriciana; bresaola, rocket and parmesan. Uncork a Canaiolo di Ormanni and let it decant before serving at the ideal temperature of 18 - 20°C in large balloon glasses.
