Why the winemaker recommends Vietti Colli Tortonesi DOC Derthona Timorasso 2021
Since 2018 Vietti has been producing Derthona thanks to the flair of Luca Currado who christened it "White Barolo". It will take a few years but the path is the right one. It ferments and matures for 10 months in ceramic, wooden and steel vats without malolactic fermentation. Clear, straw yellow, consistent, persistent.
Characteristics of the Derthona Timorasso 2021 wine from Vietti
This timorasso is a pleasant surprise. Ripe fruit, yellow and white flowers, vegetal and mineral notes. Plus a light spiciness in the background. A pleasure for the nose and throat. Full wine, with good structure, round but also vertical. Finish of discreet persistence

Vietti winery
Each wine is the result of artisanal work, understanding and interpretation of each individual terroir hence the Masseria in Barbaresco, Scarrone and Vigna Vecchia in Barbera d'Alba, La Crena in Barbera d'Asti.
Vietti is thus the place where the intelligence of the hands, applied in the vineyard and in the cellar, meets vision.
