Characteristics of the Maremma Toscana Tenuta Aquilaia wine
An interesting cuvée born as a fruit of a unique project by the Aquilaia winery. A surprising wine despite the alcohol content, it retains an excellent drinkability. Intense ruby, in the mouth it confirms what the nose promised. Red and black berries, spicy and tobacco with a tannin at the right ripeness. Dry and satisfying finish. Versatile despite the complexity.
Recommended pairings for the Maremma Toscana DOC red wine
To be paired with; pasta with tomato sauce; roasted sausage and seared red radicchio; aged cheeses and also good on its own.
