Native vines contribute to the DOC Rosso Castel del Monte Rupicolo. Nero Troia, Cabernet Sauvignon and other indigenous grape varieties are very balanced wines, and always surprise for their innate freshness. Light, young and fragrant wine that does not tire, from the olfactory side of medium intensity, medium complexity and persistence, indicated to drink on ordinary dishes and not always obvious.

Characteristics of Rivera Rupicolo wine 

Castel del Monte DOC Rupicolo di Rivera appears limpid and brilliant in the glass, bright ruby red in colour, good consistency visible when the wine is rotated in the glass. At the initial vinous nose impact, then aromas of cherry and almond in the pre-harvest stage (woody), like a memory of pomegranate, roasted coffee.

Flavor to taste: clean, dry, with the presence of two grapes, two sensations in one: soft and hard, well balanced with good freshness and moderate tannins. On the palate it shows thickness and reserves a fairly persistent finish
