Why The oenologist recommends Stroblhof Pinot Blanc Strahler Alto Adige DOC 2022
Having to explain the pinot noir I would say: Beautiful old brick color, it struck me even though I don't usually pay much attention to color. On the nose and in the mouth beautiful balance between fruit and alcohol. I personally prefer other less paradigmatic and more particular pinot noirs, but this is really the big brother of the pinot noir.
Characteristics of the Pinot Blanc wine:
Pinot Bianco with a very small percentage of Gray Pine and Chardonnay. Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Plain, fine and moderately intense. Mineral and fruity notes, with citrus fruits in evidence, some light fresh spice, white pepper and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is warm, soft, dry, decidedly acidic and full-bodied, overall still decomposed but may over time better balance acidity. Pinot Bianco with a very small percentage of Gray Pine and Chardonnay.
Suggested pairings with Pinot Blanc wine:
Perfect for enhancing appetizers or fish-based first courses; excellent risottos with artichokes, or roasted artichokes.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12-14 ° C, in Renano glass.
Stroblhof Cellar:
Stroblhof cultivates the most renowned vine of South Tyrol, and enters as a representative and founder of the Association of Independent Winegrowers of South Tyrol.
