Why do I recommend Gutturnio Superiore DOC VECE
The VECE Gutturnio Superiore is charming still red wine, produced with prestigious hand-selected Barbera and Croatina grapes from Carpaneto Piacentino hills. Bold in colour, this wine balances its full body with a well-crafted smoothness, all accompanied by aromas of varied fruits and spices. A wine with character, it perfectly matches more structured dishes to draw out each level of flavour.
The Sommelier:
Produced using the Charmat method, the VECE Gutturnio Superiore is striking with its intense ruby red colour that intricately combines fruity and spiced notes on the palate. Velvety smooth, it is the ideal accompaniment for hearty and flavoursome meals. Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Recommended pairings:
Given its well-balanced structure, the VECE Gutturnio Superiore perfectly accompanies starters and main courses centred around roasted and braised meats, as well as game-based dishes more specifically. It is best served at a temperature of 16-18°C, the ideal mealtime wine.
Wine Cellar:
Vino Vece is a family company based in the province of Parma in Emilia Romagna, a region where food and wine are treasured by locals and tourists alike. With generations of experience producing wine using their traditional family method, a few years ago they decided to branch out and put a name to the product, launching Vino Vece!
