Why I recommend Primitivo Puglia IGP 2022 Tenute Chiaromonte
Primitivo Mascherone Puglia IGT precisely reports the varietal characteristics of this grape while maintaining the typical elegance of the Murgia area with Primitivo. A wine capable of telling its story and making the flavors and aromas imposed by nature reflect in the glass.
Characteristics of the wine Primitivo:
Primitivo Puglia Igp of Tenute Chiaromonte, intense ruby color, morello cherries and dark blackberries on the nose. Dry on the palate with medium alcohol content and acidity. Low and velvety tannins, medium-intensity cherry jam on the palate, short-lived post-taste... good and pleasant without complexity, I think age will make it better.
Recommended pairings:
Primitivo Puglia PGI on tasty strascinati with turnip tops or broccoli or cabbage; fresh pasta with tomato sauce from Zapponeta; bombette from Taranto, white meats; cured meats and aged caciocavallo, dried fruit.
Uncork Primitivo 2022 Chiaromonte and decant ½ hour before serving at 16 - 18°C. in large ballon goblets.
Cellar:
Being the main actor in his land. Tenuta Chiaromonte is located in the cradle of the DOC Primitivo di Gioia del Colle. It has reached the area of cultivation of Primitivo alberello grapes, imported by the Greeks in Puglia, very important ... Go to the sheet
