Indigenous grape unique to Friuli, and precisely in the municipality of Prepotto. The Schioppettino is a true excellence is also known as Ribolla Nera. Vigna Traverso has selected clones suited to their terroir and created a red wine, very pleasant and exclusive.
The Sommelier: Produced from a sole grape: Schioppettino, the wine has a ruby red color with a glint of violet. Bright and limpid, of great consistency and alcohol content 13,50% vol. Oaked for 12 months, to the nose, a vinous aroma, with notes of raspberry, black cherry... Taste is structured, a bit sour, lingering in the finish.
Food pairings: grilled Meats and platters of cheese and cured meats.
Uncork and serve at temperature 18 °C. in a large glass Ballon.
