Why I suggest Pignolo IGT
Pignolo ... a great wine, little known, the autochthonous grape of Friuli is worth tasting. A nice experience with this grape, I must say that the beautiful deep red color is surprising, with two years in barrique, for the rest I let you discover it !!
Sommelier
Pignolo, autochthonous from Friuli. Cluster in the shape of a pine cone whose tip is cut because it never reaches maturity. Dark purple color with purple reflections. consistent; complex aromas that evolve from fruit, to cherry, to spices. Important on the palate with savory but not excessive tannins. Wine that leaves your mouth clean.
Suggested pairings
Pignolo with stuffed peppers and grilled pork, with artichoke pie and a fillet of veal and black truffle.
Uncork and decant before serving at 18 ° C. in Ballon glass.
Wine cellar
Dario Coos wines speak by telling from the glass of what is the best excellence of the north on the Colli Orientali del Friuli.
