Characteristics of the Lacrima di Morro Tenuta Mattei wine
Il Morro wine produced from 100% Lacrima Morro grapes from Tenuta Mattei with a bright ruby red color typical of the variety. Medium body with 12.00% alcohol content. The olfactory intensity is the characteristic that distinguishes this wine, persistent and decisive in the hints of small wild berries such as currants, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. On the palate, a warm, robust wine with non-scratchy tannins and a persistent finish.
Recommended pairings for this DOC 2022 red wine Marche
Excellent with truffles, for fatty dishes rich in flavours, such as Milanese risotto, pisarei and fasò, meat rolls and meat pies. Troccoli and orecchiette with lamb sauce, Tortellini with ragù, excellent for marinating meat, Rabbit hunter style, Pork loin. Spit-roasted duck, with cured meats such as ciauscolo and salami.
Uncork immediately, serve at a temperature of 16-18°C in a medium Ballon glass.
