Insoglio del Cinghiale represents the cornerstone of Tenuta Campo di Sasso and is the introductory result to develop the production of wines from Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot with particular organoleptic characteristics. The vineyards have reached adulthood, from which the qualitative improvement derives above all. In fact, the wine has a depth and a round tannic structure and overall harmonious, characteristics that allows them to be appreciated since young people.
The Sommelier: Wine aged in used barrels for a short period of time. The red color tending to ruby. On the nose a spicy scent (vanilla and cinnamon). In the mouth the warm sensation is immediately present, the softness of tannins, facilitates drinkability when young. The aroma of spices returns gently and gracefully accompanies the powerful alcohol content, 13.50% Vol, the finish is very long and persistent.
Recommended pairings: Braised meat, aged cheeses, Parma ham. Excellent accompaniment of vegetables, turnip tops and orecchiette, vegetable soups with fresh pasta.
