Because the oenologist recommends Riesling Renano
A great white wine grape whose history is linked in particular but not exclusively to Germany. It claims the palm of the best white variety in the world by virtue of the longevity of the wines and their ability to express the characteristics of the vineyard without losing the inimitable style of Riesling. The magical combination of acidity and extract, this wine can evolve for decades in the bottle despite the alcohol content.
Sensory Profile
Riesling Renano wine straw yellow color with greenish reflections end consistent alcohol content of 13.50% vol. It stands out for its intense and penetrating aroma, defined as floral, honey, ferrous, and with all the combinations of mineral elements expressed by the vineyard. Strongly aromatic, the excellent acidity leads to freshness, with good persistence.
Recommended Pairings and Serving Guidelines
Excellent Riesling with shellfish: snails, oysters raw fish, crustaceans; aperitif with raw ham and mountain cheeses, Vegetarian dishes: vegetable omelettes, tomato salads. Excellent on lobster linguine, clams, peppery tarantine mussels.
