Characteristics of the white wine Cru Vecchie Viti Monte Gorna di Nicosia

Aging in steel on fine lees with frequent batonnage, one year in the bottle. A white Cru Vecchie Viti Monte Gorna bright golden yellow, complex and elegant nose, quince, kaiser pear, broom flowers, chamomile and jasmine. In the background, balsamic and mineral breaths with hints of mint, flint and honeyed hints. Soft and elegant entry, harmonious taste supported by a good flavor and an excellent acidity which reveals a notable longevity.

Recommended pairings for this Etna white DOC 2018 wine

The pairing of Etna Bianco with monkfish in a rich dish of peas and red peppers is excellent.

Aging for 4 years, of which 12 months in barrique, makes the wine very complex, significantly enhancing the flavor of the fish.

Uncork and serve at a temperature of 10°-12°C in a large Tulipano glass.
